I was in the marching band in high school, but boy howdy how they’ve changed in 25 years!
I went to a band competition for the first time since my kids were in high school since my 14 year old grandson is now in the band. They’ve gotten considerably more sophisticated over the years- one of the other bands had the girl’s drill team performing a synchronized act on bicycles weaving in and out of the band.
Here I was panning on some of the flute players in the mistaken notion that I was tracking on my grandson. Oopsies :)
