Wide angle lenses allow you unusual perspectives. I was less than 20 feet from the base of the wheel, but the perspective allowed by my Sigma10-20mm allows a sense of the scale to show. The lighting was entirely reflected from the nearby midway, and the sky color is due to setting that camera’s White Balance to tungsten.
