…and my granddaughter is all agog. Here’s she’s playing with her Daddy, and I’m not really sure which one is having more fun.
The snow has drifted up to 18 inches or more in some places, and I’m amazed (once again) at the wonder and joy she’s experiencing.
Snow, anymore, is a nasty chore for her Daddy, and a reminder to me of my own mortality. I can’t shovel the stuff any more, something I used to enjoy. Any enjoyment I get nowadays is vicarious, watching the exuberance as the kids roll around in the white stuff, making me wish I was just an innocent child once again.
