Jason brought home some movies he got from Saundra’s dad, and I rummaged thru the box while looking for some entertainment last night. I settled on A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Moon. I had no idea that someone could make a “conspiracy” movie this laughably bad. Clearly, there’s an agenda here, since the movie ends with a slo-mo closeup of the critical frames of the Zapruder film. Saundra’s dad is amused by these sorts of quirky films, and I thought that, somehow, there might be something to learn from it. As it turned out, there was: an absolutely objective lesson in what happens when you give nutcases with an agenda video equipment.
